NRMA´s world-first interactive Mobile Member Centre is on display in Maitland from tomorrow highlighting NRMA´s ongoing commitment to bringing road safety awareness and education to the regional community
The Mobile Member Centre arrived in Maitland fresh from its recent success at the Nowra Show where it picked up the show´s Most Outstanding Exhibit award,
NRMA local area manager, Ms Heidi Novosell, said the innovative Mobile Member Centre would be on display at the Maitland Mercury Hunter River Super Show this Friday 17 through to Sunday 19 February and features information for adults and children about safer roads, safer drivers and safer vehicles.
?Maitland residents will have the opportunity to compare crash test footage and results across most classes of vehicle,? Ms Novosell said.
?NRMA´s new interactive road safety game, RuleSmartz 4 Kidz, will also be demonstrated throughout the Maitland Mercury Hunter River Super Show highlighting road safety awareness issues for children in a fun, engaging way.
?Our biggest weapon against future road deaths is education and education is key to preventing so many road crashes which could be avoided through a little care and safer driving techniques.?
NRMA´s Mobile Member Centre uses high-tech LCD touch-screen and computer technology to allow people to compare crash test results and access information about how to build safer roads and the history of the NRMA´s involvement in road safety.
The Centre offers NRMA members a range of additional membership benefits, such as maps and guides, fact sheets, free internet to access NRMA´s on-line member benefits, and Show Your Card and Save ? NRMA´s member loyalty program.
Visitors to the NRMA Mobile Member Centre during the Maitland Show can get a free six-month magazine subscription by joining or upgrading to Premium Care road service membership. There is a choice of four great titles to choose from.
?NRMA´s Mobile Member Centre will be touring extensively throughout regional NSW this year to strengthen NRMA´s road safety message in regional and rural communities,? Ms Novosell said.
