You're fully covered anywhere, anytime in Australia. At just over 40 cents per day (even less for Gold Members) it gives you affordable peace of mind.

Premium Care Benefits: 
Three new benefits we've introduced recently

Rescue and Repair: If we can't get your car on the road again, we can case manage any repairs needed on your car (see terms and conditions for coverage areas).

Taxi Benefit: If your car needs to be towed, we'll get you back on the road sooner and organise and pay a taxi for you up to $50 per breakdown. (where taxi coverage available, up to 3 times per year)

Premium Care Hotline: A dedicated service with experienced Premium Care consultants on hand to manage all your enquiries.

Plus
  Unlimited Roadside Assistance callouts: no matter how many times you lock your keys in your car, run out of fuel or need your tyre changed, we'll be there
  50km of free towing in Sydney, Newcastle, Blue Mountains, Illawarra and ACT - so in most cases your car is towed to a repairer without charge
  Free towing in country areas back to the town of the nearest NRMA Country Service Centre that attends to your breakdown, or 50km free towing in any direction.
  100km free towing in remote areas, so you'll never be left stranded
 

Premium Care Vehicle Health Check^: An NRMA patrol offers a free 6-point Premium Care Vehicle Health Check every time your vehicle breaks (unless another stranded Member is waiting or it is not practical).

Premium Care Vehicle Health Check includes:

  • Windscreen
  • Tyre tread
  • Oil
  • Water
  • Battery
  • Charging system
  Locksmith Service*: In the event we are unable to unlock your Vehicle, on your request we may arrange a professional locksmith on your behalf. NRMA will contribute a maximum of $100 (inc. GST) in a Subscription Year for the cost of the locksmith. This service does not apply at home. Conditions apply* 
 

Premium Care includes Trailer Coverage*: this means the same level of Roadside Assistance entitlements for your trailer as for your car. Trailer coverage can be used for:

  • Caravans
  • Box trailers
  • Boat trailers
  • Horse floats
  Access to NRMA Membership benefits such as discounted guides and maps, great discounts at a variety of retailers through NRMA's More4Members and the global Show Your Card & Save programs and many more.

Trailer Coverage* includes:
  Roadside Assistance and minor repairs to your trailer so you can get back on the road as soon as possible
  50km free towing in metropolitan areas including Sydney, Newcastle, Blue Mountains, Illawarra and ACT
  Free towing in country areas back to the town of the NRMA Service Centre that attends to your breakdown
  100km free towing in remote areas, so you'll never be left stranded

You'll receive up to $3,000 Major Breakdown Assistance*
When you're more than 100km from home (anywhere in Australia) and suffer a mechanical breakdown that will take more than 24 hours to fix, Premium Care provides up to $3000 worth of cover.

We'll take care of you - we organise your accommodation, car rental and vehicle transport, with just one phone call to 1300 772 273.

You receive: 
  Car rental: up to $100 car rental per day (daily base rate only) for up to 7 days while you wait for your vehicle to be repaired, or to continue your journey
  Accommodation: up to $700 accommodation (room rate only) for the driver and up to 4 passengers while you wait for your vehicle to be repaired
  Passenger Transport: the cost of economy class coach or rail travel to your home, or intended destination, is covered for you and up to 4 passengers. The cost of travelling to collect the vehicle will also be covered for one person
  Vehicle Transport: you can choose to transport your vehicle by road or rail to your home, your intended destination or your mechanic for repairs.


Crash Assistance
When you are more than 100km from home and you can't get your vehicle moving within 24 hours due to an crash, we organise the following for you:

  Accommodation: up to $300 accommodation (room rate only) for the driver and up to 4 passengers while you wait for your vehicle to be repaired
  Passenger Transport: the cost of economy class coach or rail travel to your home, or intended destination, is covered for you and up to 4 passengers.

How Premium Care could work for you.
For example, your car breaks down travelling from Sydney to Canberra and we can't get it going within 24 hours; we will arrange for you:

 1 night's accommodation  $100 (inc. GST)
 1 day's car hire  $100 (inc. GST)
 Relocation of your car to your repairer of choice  $870 (inc. GST)
 Total benefit to you  $1070 (inc. GST)
