Here’s how we’ll price match a comparable battery replacement from a competitor.
While car batteries are essential, their replacement can often come when you least expect it and disrupt your budget. With price match, our members can access the best price for batteries, on top of the 24/7 service you always expect from us.
Here’s how to price match in 5 easy steps:
- Book your battery replacement online or call 1300 726 751.
- Have your new battery installed and the old battery taken away for recycling.
- Pay for the battery after installation is complete.
- Submit your price match claim online within four weeks of the purchase date of your NRMA car battery.
- We will assess your claim and, if successful, your price match refund will be paid into your nominated bank account.
How we assess your claim
The price match assessment will take into consideration a number of factors, including retail price, delivery and installation. Please see the terms and conditions for more detail.
We will price match a competitor battery and refund the price difference if the following criteria is met:
- You’re an NRMA member.
- You’re only replacing the car battery.
- The claim is received within four weeks of the NRMA car battery purchase date.
- The competitor price includes GST, delivery and installation fees.
- The competitor battery is based on a like-for-like comparison with same car battery technology and with the same or higher cold cranking amps (CCA) rating and nationwide warranty period.
- Your callout is within NSW metro areas, the Blue Mountains (including Springwood or Katoomba) or all areas of the ACT.
- Your price match claim complies with the eligibility requirements set out in the terms and conditions.
