EV Fleet Day Sydney
From vehicle options, to charging and infrastructure, fleet incentive programs, real life case studies and learnings, our industry experts will guide you through the transition of your commercial fleet to electric.
It’s also your chance to test drive an electric vehicle (EV) and inspect others on display, including passenger and commercial vehicles and trucks.

Your program will include;
- Commercial EV fleet landscape and new brands heading to Australia.
Riz Akhtar, Founder carloop - Charging infrastructure options – including EV depot site case studies on load management and charging as a service.
Steve James, Business Development Manager, JetCharge or
Sam Korkees, Co-founder & Joseph Leon, Business Development Manager EVSE - Real life electric fleet transition case studies & learnings from delivery organisations that are on the journey.
- Update on the Electric fleets program managed by the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW), including funding options and support available.
Following the presentations, you will have the opportunity to test drive electric vehicles (including passenger and commercial) to experience what it’s like firsthand, chat with experts and check out a range of different EV models including passenger and commercial vehicles.

Fleet Day
The Friday sessions are exclusive for fleet and business managers and will provide you with the opportunity to access industry experts to guide you through the transition of your fleet to electric.

Public Day
We understand test driving an electric vehicle is important, if Friday doesn’t suit you are able to check out passenger vehicles on Saturday or Sunday.

Riz Akhtar
Founder – carloop
Riz is the founder of carloop, specialising in Australian EV data, fleet insight reports and trends. He has a passion for the automotive sector, particularly EVs and wants to help reduce transport emissions in Australia while building the industry of the future.
He writes for Australia's leading EV publication, The Driven, is the director of the Australian EV Association and co-hosts the leading Australian EV podcast, The EV show by Ludicrous Feed.
Sam Korkees
Co-Founder – EVSE Australia
EVSE was inspired by a trip to Europe in 2014 by its two founders Brendan Wheeler and Sam Korkees, where they were amazed to find the breadth of EVs available and charging stations lining the streets of Amsterdam.
Since then, EVSE has quickly grown from startup to one of Australia’s leading EV charging solutions providers from the driveway to the highway.
Sam's mission is to make EV charging simple and easy for every Australian.
Steve James
Business Development Manager – JET Charge
Steve has had a long career consulting with clients to provide customised leading edge technology solutions. His experience extends from diagnostic and therapeutic healthcare technologies; assisting clients explore viable solar technologies and their application with EV Chargers and batteries; and is today fully engaged in the EV Charging sector.
He actively helps government, business, and private clients to become more comfortably acquainted with EV charging technology concepts, capabilities, and considerations.
Joseph Leon
Business Development Manager – EVSE Australia
Joseph is the main point of contact for all NSW Government work through the company on a sales front, with a key focus on driving new relationships and business in the states of NSW and SA.
He is now working on over 30+ state government projects with a dedicated focus on delivering the most time & value efficient turnkey solutions possible.
