NRMA Members get priority access to Pete Murray tickets
NRMA members will get priority access to tickets for the upcoming Pete Murray tour of largely regional centres across Australia, kicking off in May.
Pre-sale tickets for the 55 date nationwide tour will be released to NRMA members through the organisation’s My NRMA Rewards program on Thursday 20 March, giving members a 24-hour pre-sale window before tickets are sold to the general public.
The majority (42) of the 55 tour dates will occur in regional towns and centres outside of Australia’s capital cities. More than half of NRMA’s 3.3 million members live regionally.
Pete Murray is one of Australia’s most successful singer-songwriters and he has sold over 1.2 million albums, amassed hundreds of millions of streams, released three ARIA chart-topping albums, and boasts 17 ARIA Award nominations amongst numerous other awards and nominations.
My NRMA Rewards members will be able to secure pre-sale tickets via the My NRMA Rewards app as part of a joint three-year partnership between the NRMA and TEG, a global leader in live entertainment and ticketing.
NRMA Chief Membership Officer Victoria Doidge said the NRMA was well placed as a mutual to offer regional communities an array of unique rewards and benefits.
“As a member owned organisation, we relish any opportunity to rewards our members across Australia with pre-sale tickets to sports and entertainment events and benefits including the chance to win money can’t buy experiences, special discounts and offers,” Ms Doidge said.
“We know that an appreciation for big name music acts is not restricted to our major cities and that there are an inordinate amount of rewards on offer for those willing to make the most of them. “Tours such as these also play a vital role in supporting tourism and our regional economies. Pete Murray is a great act, his music will resonate with many of our members and we want locals to make the most of these pre-sale offers.
“It’s also a great excuse for members living in one of our capital cities to book tickets and plan a road trip to a regional town – make a holiday of it and support our regional communities.”
