The park

Set on the famed Whitsunday, known for its award-winning beaches, crystal-clear waters and being home to the Great Barrier Reef, Bowen Beachfront is ideal base for a coastal getaway. The park is situated a short 40 minutes north of Airlie Beach and two hours from Townsville. Located on absolute beach front on Queens Bay, the park doesn’t just have the ideal location covered, its also homes several facilities for everything you could need while on holiday such as a swimming pool, go karts, BBQs area, camp kitchen, free wifi, laundries and so much more. The accommodation

Imagine waking up to the sound of the ocean? We have a range of accommodation options located throughout the park, making the most of our prime location. Caravanners and campers are well looked after with powered caravan and tent sites however, our most popular options are our beachfront sites. Cabin accommodation ranges from 2 bedroom villas overlooking the pool to prime beachfront villas with spa baths and spacious living areas.

The neighbourhood

With coastal wonders everywhere you look, it will hard to decide where to explore first. The sheltered water of Horseshoe Bay and its haven of a range of fish coral, making it a favourite with both the locals and tourist. Watch your worries wash away as feel the sand and crystal clear waters between your toes. Why not see Bowen with a full 360 views at flagstaff hill look out? Adventure along to the look out and treat yourself to something sweet from the café while you take in the view. The town also provides a kids haven on the foreshore, with a recently revamped recreation area with a skatepark, outdoor amphitheater, waterpark and much more. And you can’t visit Bowen without visiting it’s landmark structure, the 10m high Big Mango.
