Initial driving lesson

60 min - $91 | 90 min - $136.50 (Recommended)

A requirement for learner drivers who have not previously had a lesson an NRMA instructor. The 90 minute lesson is highly recommended and designed to allow appropriate time to determine the student's knowledge, current skill and confidence level so a tailored program can be developed to suit their needs.

On-going driving lesson

60 min - $91 | 90 min - $136.50 | 120 min - $182 | 180 min - $273

For learner drivers who have already had an initial driving lesson with an NRMA instructor. Ongoing lesson duration can vary in length depending on lesson outcome requirements. Longer sessions can also assist in managing busy schedules. Your instructor can best advise on your individual requirements. All lessons regardless of duration are structured and tailored to suit individual needs.

150 minute licence test - $227.50

For learner drivers who are taking their Ps test with the RMS (formally RTA) in an NRMA car this special lesson provides time to calm your nerves with a warm up drive immediately preceding the test. Your instructor will wait while you take the test in the NRMA car and return home with you.

Safer Drivers Course - $140

Available to NSW learners under the age of 25 who have completed at least 50 hours on-road driving hours in their learner logbook. This course aims to help young learner drivers be safer on the road once they receive their provisional licence.

Geoffrey Mao

As a driving instructor, Geoffrey believes that a driver’s attitude and behaviour is just as important as their skills when it comes to on-road safety. So, his students will learn all the necessary driving techniques as well as the right mentality and approach to help them become safe, confident drivers and create a safe driving environment for others. 

Geoffrey understands that each student is different, so he makes a point of getting to know them before beginning a new set of lessons and tailoring the lessons to suit their needs. In his spare time, he loves to travel, play golf and tennis. 

John Ransome-Haberley

With over 30 years of driving experience, John aims to give his students the tools to handle complex situations when they’re behind the wheel. Getting your P plates is just the beginning, and with his training skills and patience, he’ll make sure students become confident, independent drivers. And, when he’s not in the passenger seat helping young drivers, he’s busy following the local football team, singing in choirs and enjoying the cricket with his teenage son.

David's quiet and patient demeanour is valued by his customers. He creates a calm learning environment which assists in achieving driving outcomes which are most beneficial for his customers. Ensuring his customers leave each lesson with a new set of safe driving skills is very important for David.
