Sydney’s last price cycle lasted 24 days, 2 days shorter than the previous cycle. Today is day 18 of the current price cycle, with the average price for regular unleaded fuel in Sydney at 143.6 cents per litre (Monday morning).
Looking Ahead
Over the past week, the average Mogas price fell 3.0 cents per litre with the Australian dollar rising 2.1 cents to 72.4 cents against the US dollar. Given current market forces, average unleaded petrol prices are expected to fall to 137 cents per litre in the next 7 days.
