A focus on unique local experiences and world class customer service has seen NRMA Port Arthur Holiday Park win gold for the third year in a row at the Tasmanian Tourism Awards for best Caravan and Holiday Park.
The year’s win sees the renowned holiday park inducted into the Tasmanian Tourism Hall of Fame that boasts some of the state’s most successful tourism operators such as the Port Arthur Historic Site and Pumphouse Point.
NRMA Port Arthur Holiday Park Managers Leanne and Steve Sowerby said the park offered families the perfect location to explore one of Tasmania’s most beautiful peninsulas.
“Our guests are looking for a great holiday experience at a great destination. The serene and spacious NRMA Port Arthur Holiday Park boasts first rate facilities, diverse accommodation options and breathtaking views,” said Ms Sowerby.
“But it’s not just about our holiday park, it’s also about recognising the incredible tourism providers that operate in the whole Port Arthur region. Port Arthur’s history attracts a huge range of visitors to the area so it’s important we can showcase unique experiences for everyone.
“Tasmania is one of the most beautiful places on earth, and we wake up every day excited to share our little slice of heaven with visitors.”
The Tasmanian Tourism Awards recognise excellence in customer service, product innovation, marketing and environmental sustainability.
NRMA Parks and Resorts CEO Paul Davies said NRMA Port Arthur was one of its flagship parks across the country.
“Parks owned and managed by NRMA Parks and Resorts – including the incredible NRMA Port Arthur – are being recognised as more innovative, pushing into new markets with new ideas for product development and customer satisfaction to ensure every guest has an exceptional holiday experience,” said Mr Davies.
