Keep getting important NRMA emails in Gmail

With Google making some recent changes to Gmail, some of your important NRMA emails may no longer be making their way to your primary inbox. To check that you're receiving emails from us, follow the below instructions depending on how you access your account.

Via web browser on phone or tablet

If you're using a mobile web browser such as Safari or Chrome on your phone or tablet, here's what to do:

Step 1: tap on the menu icon (three lines) at the top left of screen, then select the Promotions tab.

Step 2: tap in the search field above the list of emails, search 'NRMA' and then open any of our emails that display.

Step 3: tap the down arrow at top right next to the bin icon, tap the first option 'Move', and then select 'Primary'.

Via the Gmail app

If you're using the Gmail app on your phone or tablet, here are the steps to take:

Step 1: tap on the menu icon (three lines) in the top left hand corner, then select the Promotions tab.

Step 2: tap on the search icon (magnifying glass) in the top right hand corner, search 'NRMA' and then open any of our emails that display.

Step 3: tap the three dots in the top right corner, tap 'Move to', and then select 'Primary'.

Via web browser on desktop

If you're using a standard web browser such as Explorer, Safari, Chrome or Firefox on your PC or laptop, follow these steps:

Step 1: click on the 'Promotions' tab above your list of emails.

Step 2: click in the search field at the top of screen and search 'NRMA'.

Step 3: choose any of our emails that display and either click and drag it up into the 'Primary' tab, or right click it and select 'Move to tab' and then 'Primary'.

Step 4: a popup will appear notifying you that this conversation has been moved, and asking if you'd like to do this for future messages from us, on which you click 'Yes'.

Once you've done this, all future emails from us should appear in your primary inbox. However, it’s a good idea to check this every so often for all your important emails, just to make sure that you're always up to date.
