So, when people told us that our roadside assistance packages could be simpler, we got straight to creating new ones – and looked to pack more value in there, too.
Designed for how Australians drive today and bringing year-round benefits, these new packages are ready for you to start enjoying. With enhancements such as increased towing flexibility, more useful inclusions and a brand new package offering our maximum benefits for ultimate peace of mind – we think you’ll be happy with what you find. And, of course, we’ll still deliver the same legendary level of service at the roadside that’s expected from us every single day.
What are the new roadside packages?

Roadside assistance Add-ons
Add even more value to your roadside assistance Membership with our Add-on products. Then you can tailor your cover to meet your individual needs.
Only available to Members with Complete Care and Ultimate Care, specifically those who tow larger items like boats, caravans or large trailers, or those who drive heavy non-commercial vehicles like motorhomes. Includes a towing allowance for vehicles up to 10 tonnes.
$11.00/month or $132/year
One windscreen chip repair or save 30% on windscreen replacements. Included in Complete Care and Ultimate Care.

We'll take care of transport and accommodation if necessary for your cat or dog in the event of a breakdown.

What is changing with my roadside assistance package?
Depending on which roadside assistance package you currently have, your next renewal will include an updated roadside assistance package that’s most suitable for you. Our new packages feature increased towing flexibility, more useful inclusions, less complex restrictions and even new names that make them easier to distinguish, so we think you’ll be happy with the changes. And, of course, we’ll still deliver the same legendary level of service at the roadside that you’ve come to expect from us, every single day. Keep an eye out for your renewal notice that will include more information on what the changes mean specifically for you.
When will I see the change to my roadside assistance package?
As your current roadside assistance package comes up for renewal, you’ll receive information that will feature the updated packages. We have chosen the package that most closely matches what you currently have, all you need to do is renew as you normally do to have your subscription transferred to an updated roadside assistance package.
Will I continue to get my Gold Member discount?
Yes, your tenure will continue accumulating as normal and any loyalty discounts you’re currently eligible for will remain. More info can be found here.
What happens if I have direct debit?
You don't need to do anything, your direct debit will continue as normal and you’ll be transferred to an updated package at your next renewal. You’ll receive a notice ahead of time giving you more information.
What if I have a multi-year subscription?
Your subscription will continue on your current roadside assistance package until it’s time to renew, then you’ll be provided the most suitable updated roadside assistance package to continue your coverage.
I received a renewal notice for Complete Care, why do I now have a Windscreen Plus Add-on?
As part of the updates to our roadside assistance packages, we’re including Windscreen Plus as a complimentary Add-on for Members with Complete or Ultimate Care. Windscreen Plus means you’ll receive one windscreen chip repair for your nominated vehicle each year.
Why am I being asked to renew with a Vehicle Plus Add-on?
If you currently hold a Premium Plus subscription, when you renew your cover you’ll be transferred onto our Complete Care package with a Vehicle Plus Add-on. The Vehicle Plus Add-on is perfect for people that tow larger items like boats, caravans or large trailers, or those who drive heavy non-commercial vehicles like motorhomes. These options provide the closest level of coverage to what you currently hold with even better inclusions.
I receive complimentary Pet Plus with my Premium Care or Premium Plus subscription, what will happen to it when I renew?
If you have Premium Care or Premium Plus and receive complimentary Pet Plus, you’ll continue to receive this Add-on if you renew on to our Complete Care package. If you change your roadside assistance cover, this Add-on will no longer be complimentary, but you can still choose to purchase it with your new cover.
Are there any changes to the Pet Plus Add-on?
We won’t be sending out pet collar tags with Pet Plus as of August 15. However, if you already have one of these for your pet, we’ll still provide our lost pets service if your furry friend does go missing.
Are child seat installations still included in my package?
Child seat fittings and adjustments are no longer conducted by our Roadside Patrols, so unfortunately they aren’t included in our packages. For more information about car seats and where to go to have them installed, head here.
I'm on Classic Care today. What's changing for me?
When it comes time for you to renew, you’ll be offered the equivalent of your current package, with the details of your updated inclusions and benefits. Everyday Care is in place of Classic Care and it covers the essentials. It’s great for those who drive shorter distances with extra metro towing up to 25km, plus it now covers larger vehicles like 4WDs and SUVs. This update comes with a small price increase of $3 per annum.
I'm on Premium Care today. What's changing for me?
When it comes time for you to renew, you’ll be offered the equivalent of your current package, with the details of your updated inclusions and benefits. Complete Care is in place of Premium Care and it provides all round cover for people who sometimes travel longer distances and those with things in tow. It comes with improved major mechanical breakdown assistance benefits and our Windscreen Plus Add-on, which includes one windscreen chip repair. This update comes with a small price increase of $1 per annum.
I'm on Premium Plus today. What's changing for me?
When it comes time for you to renew, you’ll be offered the equivalent of your current package, with the details of your updated inclusions and benefits. Complete Care with the Vehicle Plus Add-on is in place of Premium Plus. Vehicle Plus is our new Add-on product designed specifically for Members who need towing for heavy vehicles or trailers up to 10 tonnes. Complete Care also includes our Windscreen Plus Add-on, which includes one windscreen chip repair. This update comes with a small price increase of $1 per annum.
I have Traveller Care, what changes for me?
There are no changes to your Traveller Care roadside assistance package. When your renewal rolls around, you’ll be able to continue with your Traveller Care package. If you’d like to take up one of our new roadside assistance packages, Everyday Care, Complete Care or Ultimate Care, you can do so before you renew.
I have Basic Care, what changes for me?
There are no changes to your Basic Care roadside assistance package. When your renewal rolls around, you’ll be able to continue with your Basic Care package. If you’d like to take up one of our new roadside assistance packages, Everyday Care, Complete Care or Ultimate Care, you can do so before you renew.
