Why are you changing your roadside assistance packages?
As a Member-owned organisation, everything we do is to help our Members. So, when they asked for roadside assistance packages that were simpler and offered more value and choice, we got straight to creating them. Designed for how Australians drive today and bringing year-round benefits, these new packages will be rolling out soon. With enhancements such as increased towing flexibility and more useful inclusions, we think you’ll be happy with the changes.
What does Everyday Care roadside assistance include?
Everyday Care is our new entry level package. It covers all the essentials, and is perfect if you drive shorter distances. With unlimited roadside assistance callouts, 25km of metro towing, free towing in country areas to the closest NRMA Country Service Centre and access to NRMA Blue benefits.
What does Complete Care roadside assistance include?
Complete Care provides all round cover for people who sometimes travel longer distances. Enjoy inclusions like unlimited roadside assistance callouts, 50km of towing in metro and country areas and 100km towing in remote areas. Plus, you’ll also receive up to $3,000 a year for accommodation, car hire and onward travel in the event of a major breakdown. Plus, one windscreen chip repair each year, and access to NRMA Blue benefits.
What does Ultimate Care roadside assistance include?
Ultimate Care is a completely new roadside assistance package. It's ideal for those wanting total peace of mind or who travel a long way from home. It includes all the benefits of Complete Care, with 100km metro and country towing and $4,000 a year for accommodation, car hire and onward travel if you experience a major breakdown. As well as a $500 allowance if you’ve lost or had your keys stolen and require replacements. Members on any other roadside assistance package can upgrade to Ultimate Care.
I'm on Classic Care today. What's changing for me?
When it comes time for you to renew, you’ll be offered the equivalent of your current package, with the details of your updated inclusions and benefits. Everyday Care is in place of Classic Care and it covers the essentials. It’s great for those who drive shorter distances with extra metro towing up to 25km, plus it now covers larger vehicles like 4WDs and SUVs. This update comes with a small price increase of $3 a year.
I'm on Premium Care today. What's changing for me?
When it comes time for you to renew, you’ll be offered the equivalent of your current package, with the details of your updated inclusions and benefits. Complete Care is in place of Premium Care and it provides all round cover for people who sometimes travel longer distances and those with things in tow. It comes with improved major mechanical breakdown assistance benefits and our Windscreen Plus Add-on, which includes one windscreen chip repair. This update comes with a small price increase of $1 a year.
I'm on Premium Plus today. What's changing for me?
When it comes time for you to renew, you’ll be offered the equivalent of your current package, with the details of your updated inclusions and benefits. Complete Care with our new Vehicle Plus Add-on is in place of Premium Plus. It provides all round cover for people who sometimes travel longer distances in vehicles over 3.5 tonnes or those who tow larger items like boats, caravans or large trailers. It also comes with improved major mechanical breakdown assistance benefits and our Windscreen Plus Add-on, which includes one windscreen chip repair. This update comes with a small price increase of $1 a year.
Are there any changes to roadside assistance Add-ons?
With our Add-ons you can tailor your Membership to meet your individual needs and add even more value. We’ll continue to offer, Tow Plus, Windscreen Plus, Key Plus and Pet Plus. We’re also introducing a new Add-on called Vehicle Plus. Vehicle Plus is specifically for Members who tow larger items like boats, caravans or large trailers, or those who drive heavy vehicles like motorhomes or campervans. Vehicle Plus has a towing allowance of up to 10 tonnes, and it’s priced at $132 a year or $11 per month. It is only available with our Complete and Ultimate Care packages.
What is the Vehicle Plus Add-on?
Vehicle Plus is specifically for Members who tow larger items like boats, caravans or large trailers (over 2 tonnes), or those who drive heavy vehicles like motorhomes. With a towing allowance for vehicles up to 10 tonnes, Vehicle Plus is $132 a year or $11 per month. It is only available if you have Complete or Ultimate Care roadside assistance. Please note, Members currently on our Premium Plus package will be migrated to Complete Care with Vehicle Plus Add-on included, with a small price increase of $1 a year.
