Batteries price match terms and conditions

  1. Price match is only available to NRMA members on car battery replacements serviced within the metropolitan areas of Sydney, the Blue Mountains (including Springwood and Katoomba), and all areas of the ACT (the price match area). The car battery must have been supplied from and installed by the NRMA as a road service callout.

  1. To be eligible for the price match, the competitor’s car battery must:

  • be supplied by a mobile roadside assistance or mobile car battery replacement service provider;

  • be based on a like-for-like comparison including same or higher Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) rating, same car battery technology and same or higher nationwide warranty period;

  • include GST, delivery and installation fees;

  • be a recommended battery for your car; and

  • be in-stock in the price match area and the claim submitted within four weeks of the NRMA car battery purchase date.

  1. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. These are excluded from the price match:  

  • non-mobile roadside assistance or mobile battery replacement service providers such as mechanics, workshop repairers and car manufacturer service centres;

  • payment made for your car battery through Afterpay;

  • reconditioned, refurbished or used/second hand car batteries;

  • stock liquidations;

  • commercial quantities (such as a reduced price not generally available to the public) or group buys;

  • offers not available to the general public;

  • pricing errors;

  • bonus, gift card, loyalty, cashback and voucher or coupon offers; and

  • car batteries supplied through unauthorised distributors (such as “grey market” items).

 

  1. Claims can be made by completing the online battery price match application form, visit www.mynrma.com.au/pricematch

  2. The NRMA will respond within five business days of the price match claim being received.

  3. The original payment to the NRMA in full must be cleared before a refund is issued.

  4. Any agreed refund will be made into your nominated bank account. We do not store or save your bank account or your credit card details.  

  5. Refund processing time is approximately ten business days from when the price match claim is approved.

  6. If the price match claim is approved, it entitles the NRMA member to a refund of the price difference only. The NRMA car battery itself cannot be returned as part of the price match. Updated invoices will not be provided.

  7. Price match is based on the dollar amount paid for the car battery. Where the NRMA member has received a discounted price for the NRMA car battery, the discounted price will be used for the purpose of comparison.


The NRMA reserves the right to terminate or vary these batteries price match terms and conditions at any time without notice, subject to any applicable laws.
