Alongside our new brand campaign, we're putting the spotlight on Melbourne-based band Woodlock and their cover of 500 Miles. Check out their track in the video above.
A new take on a well-known tune, Woodlock added a little more pace and energy, bringing to life the NRMA mission to keep our Members moving, everywhere you go.
Woodlock, who originally gained attention by busking on Bourke Street in Melbourne, consists of three members: Kiwi brothers Zech and Eze Walters on guitar/vocals and Bowen Purcell on percussion.
To get their music heard, the trio bought a caravan and took off on an adventure up and down the East Coast, bringing their music to rural outposts and capital cities on an epic Australian road trip.
Using a van and live performances as a means of distribution, Woodlock were able to build a fan base and reputation as one of the best independent live acts around. We love their story and their energy and are delighted to share their music with our Members.
