Discounted Roadside Assistance Offer Terms and Conditions

The promoter is National Roads and Motorists’ Association Limited, trading as NRMA Limited ABN 77 000 010 506 of Level 13, 151 Clarence Street, Sydney NSW 2000 (Promoter or the NRMA).
The Offer
This Offer is available to Australian Federal Police Association Members and who are non-NRMA Members located in NSW and ACT; and who currently do not hold an NRMA membership or product listed in the exclusions below (Eligible Customer).

The Offer provides Eligible Customers a discount as per Table 1 on 12 month subscription, annual option only for Everyday Care and Complete Care (Eligible Subscription Package) off roadside assistance subscription fee (NRMA Roadside Assistance Promotional Package).

This Offer is available via authorised Australian Federal Police Association communication channels using a specific join offer link (Eligible Channel).

Eligible Customers can take advantage of the NRMA Roadside Assistance Promotional Package one time only at the Eligible Channel and during the period of 11 December 2023 to 10 June 2024 (Promotional Period).

NRMA pays a commission to the authorised vendors for every NRMA Roadside Assistance Promotional Package.

Fees payable for Eligible customers for the NRMA Roadside Assistance Promotional Package are detailed in Table 1 below. Prices are correct at the time this Offer commences.

Towing in other states/territories

Under the reciprocal arrangements, NRMA Members have access to affiliated clubs’ standard levels of roadside assistance. These benefits differ from the entitlements NRMA Members receive for breakdowns in NSW and ACT.

In the event of a major mechanical breakdown which can't be fixed within 24 hours, any extra towing on top of the below, can be covered up to $4,000 for those on Ultimate Care, or $3,000 on Complete Care and if 100km from home.

 

Victoria: RACV Roadside Care benefits include assistance to mobilise vehicles, 20km towing in metropolitan areas and 120km towing in country areas.

 

Queensland: RACQ Roadside benefits include assistance to mobilise vehicles, 20km towing in any direction or up to 50km towing to the attending RACQ Contractor’s premises.

 

Northern Territory and South Australia: AANT and RAASA Standard benefits include assistance to mobilise vehicles, 8km towing in metropolitan areas and 32km towing in country areas.

 

Western Australia: RACWA Standard benefits include assistance to mobilise vehicles and 10km towing in “Guaranteed Service” (city) areas, and 80km of travel to mobilise vehicles and 80km towing in “Non-Guaranteed Service” (other) areas.

 

Tasmania: RACT Advantage benefits include assistance to mobilise vehicles, up to 15km towing in the city and up to 32km back to the nearest agent in the country.

 

 

Exclusions
This offer is only available to Eligible Customers and excludes:

a) All new NRMA Members who of join by purchasing a roadside subscription package
via any other channel.  This includes, but not limited to NRMA website, NRMA call centre and IAG website, IAG call center and IAG in store locations and any other authorisation retailer of NRMA Roadside Assistance Package;

b) All existing NRMA Members including but not limited to NRMA Gold Members, NRMA Gold Plus, NRMA Gold Life Members, Classic Care Members, Premium Care Members, Premium Plus Care Members, Everyday Care Members, Complete Care Member, Ultimate Care Members, Affiliate Free2go Members, Affiliate CMO Members, Affiliate NCO Members, Business Motoring Members and NRMA Members on Go Bundle Packages, who have recently renewed their membership prior to the Promotional Period, or are due to renew their membership during the Promotional Period;
c) to new and existing NRMA Members who take up any Roadside Assistance packages on a Monthly Payment Plan (over 12 months term) – this includes My NRMA, Everyday Care, Complete Care and Ultimate Care subscription packages

d) to new and existing NRMA Members who take up Ultimate Care Roadside Assistance package on an annual option;

e)to new and existing NRMA Members who take up the Multi Vehicle Discount offer;
f) to new and existing NRMA Members who take up the Motor Value Bundle offer;
g) NRMA members who cancel their membership during or just prior to the Promotional Period for the purpose of taking advantage of this offer; and
h) “Join on Road” and “Join and Go” subscription packages that are entered into, renewed, added-on or upgraded at the time of breakdown or use with any other promotional offer.
